Eligibility for Pharm D:

The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually;

Candidate should obtain non zero positive score in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2026 and should obtain non zero score in MHTCET 2026 conducted by the Competent Authority; Provided that, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) over the candidates who obtained non zero score in MHT-CET 2026.

Eligibility forPharm D(post Baccalaureate):

(ii) The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s in Pharmacy Degree examination of an Indian university established by law in India from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and has scored not less than fifty five per cent. of the maximum marks (aggregate of 4 years of B.Pharm.) (at least fifty per cent. marks in case of Reserved category, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability Candidatebelonging to the Maharashtra State only); (iii) Obtained non zero positive score in Graduates Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) conducted by National Testing Agency; (iv) For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of fulltime work experience in a registered firm or company or industry or educational or research institute or any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.

Duration of the course:

A) Pharm. D.:

The duration of the course shall be six academic years (five years of study and one year of internship or residency)

B) Pharm. D: (Post Baccalaureate):

The duration of the course shall be for three academic years (two years of study and one-year internship or residency)

Eligibility:

A) Pharm. D. Course:

A pass in any one of the following examinations -

  • 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology.
  • A pass in D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
  • Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations. Provided that a student should complete the age of\17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course. Provided that there shall be reservation of seats for the students belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Classes in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Administration as the case may be from time to time.

B) Pharm. D. (Post Baccalaureate) Course:

  • A pass in B. Pharm from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act
  • Provided that there shall be reservation of seats for the students belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Classes in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Administration as the case may be from time to time.
